Dr. Randy Valimont

Pastor Randy Valimont, Senior Pastor of Griffin First Assembly of God, Griffin, GA is a graduate of Southeastern University. His vision for a School of Ministry was fulfilled when the initial program began in 1991 under his direction. For the past 2 decades, the school has equipped, discipled, and empowered the next generation of leaders. His motto for a successful ministry is summed up as: passion for God, a teachable spirit, and a strong work ethic.
Commitment to these principles has resulted in the growth of Griffin First Assembly from 400 to over 4,000 in Sunday morning attendance. More than 20,000 souls have dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ through the ministries of the church.
Pastor Valimont serves on numerous boards and committees for both the General Council of the Assemblies of God, the Georgia District, and Global Missions. His speaking schedule includes District Councils and Missions Conventions, as wells as mentoring to pastors and their boards. He has spoken in over 40 nations of the world. His most recent book is Finding Significance in an Insignificant Place.
Dr. Ron Crum
Sr. Executive Pastor & Academic Dean
The son of a southern West Virginia coal miner, he graduated from Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God, in Lakeland, FL, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and is ordained with the Assemblies of God. Ron earned a Masters Degree from Marshall University Graduate College in Counseling with a specialty in Career Development. He earned a Master of Divinity, Equivalency (2009), and last November (2013) completed his final Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership project with the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. In his writing, “Decision-making Styles, Leadership Styles, and Selected Influences of Decision-making,” Ron coined the term, Deisensus to describe the value of the Holy Spirit in decision-making from Acts 15:28.
He also served an eight-year term as the Assistant Superintendent of the Appalachian District of the Assemblies of God, and was a member of Board of Directors for Southeastern College.
Ron founded the Appalachian District School of Ministry, which trains and educates those wanting to become a certified, licensed, or ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and became the model for district schools of ministry replicated in over thirty additional districts. He was the visionary and driving force behind a 2004 statewide prayer effort in West Virginia to “reverse the curse and release the blessing” which continues as PrayWV. He recently founded a leadership coaching and church consulting service called Deisensus as a consultant with Church Life Resources, Birmingham, Alabama.
Pastor Eric Speir
Pastor Eric Speir graduated from Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God, in Lakeland, FL, with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and is ordained with the Assemblies of God. Eric earned a Master of Divinity from Regent University School of Divinity in Practical Theology (2008) with a specialty in Leadership Coaching. In the very near future he plans to pursue a Ph.D in Leadership Development or a D.Min in Spiritual Formation.
He has been in ministry for over fifteen years and has served at Griffin First Assembly of God for the past eight years. He has been on staff at three churches holding positions such as Ministry Development Director, Operations Pastor and Pastor of Pastoral Care.
His passion is to empower and equip leaders for ministry. His most recent book is Stubborn Faith and he plans on releasing his newest book next Spring.
